Long Form Storytelling

in the newest season of "no little plans" i wanted us to focus more on supporter stories and the fans behind the team. In this episode meet edith lopez and jake campbell two supporters at the heart of the fire ahead of the team's season opener. (Director/story boarding/Lead editor/videographer).

"No Little plans" episode 3 - this episode is particular special for the style it was shot which focused on bringing out the personalities and day to day interactions of the staff members and team. I was the director and lead editor for the training segment while Jeremy whitmore was the camera operator. Jeremy was also the editor for the dc united recap. the episode as a whole was primarily shot by myself and jeremy.

I was a solo shooter and editor on this project where I followed along with Chicago Fire FC's owner, Joe Mansueto, on his first official visit to FC Lugano. This feature was included in the no little plans documentary series episode six (videographer/editor).

"no Little plans" episode 4 - I enjoyed being able to follow around new team signing kacper Przybyłko at his new home in chicago. trying to combine the storytelling aspects in a documentary style that feels natural. almost as if he is talking directly to the viewer. the game segment was edited/produced by Jeremy whitmore. for the athletic trainer segment jeremy was the camera operator while i directed and edited the segment.

"no little plans" episode 2 - what i enjoyed most about this episode was the game reacp for the inter Miami game. I was a solo shooter in miami and lead editor for this segment. I put emphasis on showing the emotions from the match while trying to make a scoreless tie exciting.

This docu-style episode was one of my favorite independent projects. This was an early iteration of what then became our formal documentary series "no Little Plans". I shot and edited this entire episode with the intention to make it feel true to life and bring light to the connection between athlete's lives on and off the field.
